Who am I?
I’m Marlise Montcho, telecom engineer, holder of bachelor in Analysis and Development Policy. I contribute to changes in my community through my actions at the Junior Chamber International Abomey Calavi Pioneer (which aims to be the main network of young active citizens) of which I’m a member and FemTICDev (which aims to the digital empowerment of women, youth and marginalized people) of which I am president. I am very passionate about basic research and ICT for development and I am currently in a postgraduate telecommunications program. I believe in the full capabilities of beings often ignored with their voluntary or involuntary participation.
I also believe that everyone has everything to succeed, if they choose to do so.
I have been able to achieve all these things despite being born with a disability.
What will this blog be about?
This blog aims to end the perception that those with disabilities (with focus on Africa) are seen as cursed or sick beings. It wants to be a motivational space, helping anyone who wants it and especially people with disabilities to have more courage and determination, to help him/her discover their skills to better impress their community. You will find the lives of people with disabilities who have overcome their disabilities and find that nothing and no one can be a barrier to success. You will also find motivators and inspirational words on this blog.
This blog is yours and awaits your participation by reading articles and especially your comments. Share around you and together give a new look without pity to all people with disabilities.
